Perched on a rocky bluff above Upper Arrow Lake, the Hot Springs Cottage offers panoramic lake views, and breath-taking vistas of Mount Odin and the surrounding peaks. Enjoy the hot springs water from the renowned Halcyon Hot Springs (with its lithium content) in your own private above ground swimming pool, and hot tub. Surrounding areas provide many hiking and fishing opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast. You may find, though, that you never want to leave the cottage, as it truly provides a year-round relaxing experience all on its own! It has been called a “hidden gem.” Families welcome. We are situated in the big trees on the shores of the crystal-clear waters of the Lower Arrow Lake. We are located 3 kms North of the Needles-Fauquier Ferry landing on Highway 6 towards Nakusp, or 40 minutes South of Nakusp on Highway 6.
Here you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, fishing, hiking and mountain exploring, bird watching, paddle boating, or sitting on the 250 ft. private beach reading a favourite book or doing just “nothing”. Enjoy our lakeside 9-hole golf course; General Store with fuel, groceries and ice. Please feel free to use our large public boat launch. Further North on Highway 6 are two superb hot springs to ease your mind and soothe your body.
All cabins are private and include breakfast.

Our Timber frame and Log buildings have a unique character. Often using natural curves, and character wood, we take pride in adding flair to your home. Trained in traditional European joinery, we strive to produce the finest quality at an affordable price. With a fully equipped cabinet shop, we offer solid wood staircases, kitchens, flooring, solid wood doors and windows, all locally made and at a competitive price.
Situated just south of Nakusp, McDonald Creek Provincial Park is one of a system of four provincial parks on the Arrow Lake reservoir. With facilities on the eastern shoreline, it is a holiday destination for swimming, boating, jet skiing, water skiing and fishing opportunities. It features several kilometers of fine sandy beach, waterfront sites and open grassy meadows. You can always find a quiet spot for yourself, try some beachcombing, or join in the fun at the main swimming area. A boat launch is available, offering good fishing opportunities for kokanee, bull and rainbow trout – a tempting invitation for anglers of all ages.
The Arrow Reservoir bisects McDonald Creek Provincial Park and protects lakeshore riparian habitat on the east side and forested upland habitat on the west side. This combination offers outdoor recreational opportunities in a unique forested/lakeside setting.

Stepping Stones Children’s Centre
Stepping Stones Children’s centre is a non-profit organization that runs on Parent Fees. We serve the needs of all children in our inclusive setting, aged 2 ½ to 6 years old. The centre is staffed by qualified Early Childhood Educators. A maximum of 16 children can attend our licensed facility. Every child must be toilet trained, unless other arrangements have been made with the Centre Administrator.
