Welcome To The Valhalla Inn
Valhalla, according to Norse mythology was a magnificent palace, roofed with shields wherein dwelled the bravest of slain Norse warriors. There, under the leadership of the god, Odin, they lived a happy life waiting for the day when they would be rallied to march out and do battle against the giants. To reach Valhalla was the greatest honour a Norse warrior could attain. Valkyries, maidens who served Odin, travelled to the battlefields to choose the slain who were worthy of a place in Valhalla.

Sandon is a ghost town in southern British Columbia, Canada. It is home to Western Canada’s oldest continuously operating hydroelectric station.
Sandon is the glorious heart of B.C.’s famous Valley of the Ghosts. The former wild silver mining town was once a wild, wild place with saloon and casino brawlers living up to the town’s brazen hell-raising image as the heart and soul of the Silvery Slocan. The West Kootenay wilderness community, nestled along a creek bank in a narrow valley, is today mostly still and hauntingly quiet.
