Endless Adventure has been the local go-to rafting and kayaking company in the West Kootenays since 2006! We provide adventure and gentle rafting trips down the Slocan River, and offer kayaking and paddle boardings lessons and courses for all ages! We have a fleet of kayaks, paddleboards, and tubes for rent and we provide expert advice on where to go on the river to maximize your safety and fun!
Sandon, BC is still an active community with less than 20 residents. Most attractions are free to view, though donations are gratefully appreciated. The town site of Sandon is mostly owned by Hal Wright, who has lived in Sandon since 1972, and the Silversmith Power and Light Corp who’s mission is to maintain and restore the historical importance of Sandon. The restoration efforts for Sandon is not government funded and we rely on the donations and the kindness of individuals who volunteer.
School District 10 Arrow Lakes serves the communities of north Slocan Lake and the Arrow Lakes with schools and programs in Nakusp, Edgewood, Burton and New Denver.
Our innovative approach to learning and the beautiful mountain settings that surround these communities, provide our students with unique learning experiences that gain praise in our province and beyond. We are well-recognized for innovation in place-conscious learning, environmental education, and for creatively personalizing learning experiences for our students.

Mountain goats can often be viewed on rocky outcroppings and in late summer a natural spectacle occurs as thousands of toads emerge from the lake and migrate to the nearby forest to hibernate for the winter.
This 6 hectare park lies within the Nakusp range of the Selkirk Mountains. Park visitors enjoy canoeing or kayaking, fishing for rainbow and cutthroat trout or swimming in the lake’s clear, refreshing mountain water.
