Nakusp & District Chamber of Commerce Quarterly Meeting@Old Firehall Collective, Nakusp

Since we took on the role of Chamber directors, this team has spent countless hours reviewing policies, mandates, assessing the Chambers vision, learning the essentials of overseeing the Visitor Centre, hiring staff, taking over the book keeping, becoming informed about grants, bursaries and the ins and outs of our fiduciary responsibilities.

The most commonly asked question we get is “what are the benefits to becoming a chamber member?

For starters, our Visitor Centre is fully operational and staffed with several amazing and friendly people. Anji Jones, Tracy Fetters, Gerry Crane and Calder Fadden.

Our next priority is to have a strategic planning session to develop a membership benefit package so good you cannot refuse, including but not limited to advertising, training seminars, health benefits, networking events, etc. It would be helpful for us to hear from you; the community and the business owners; as to how we can best serve you!

We would like to take a moment to recognize and thank all who went before us as volunteers or in a paid capacity to direct the Nakusp and District Chamber of Commerce and the Nakusp Visitor Centre.
