Sandon, BC is still an active community with less than 20 residents. Most attractions are free to view, though donations are gratefully appreciated. The town site of Sandon is mostly owned by Hal Wright, who has lived in Sandon since 1972, and the Silversmith Power and Light Corp who’s mission is to maintain and restore the historical importance of Sandon. Christine is the creator, blender, artist and dreamer behind all of the teas and products we have to offer. Inspired by the earth and plants around us, and the ancient traditions which were used as prevention, maintenance and restoration, she began to learn the ancient art of herbalism and began on this journey. Once she started to introduce herbs, and learn about plants, she began to feel a deeper connection to earth and nature and bring balance into my own life by means of tea.
Her vision has always been to have herbs grown Locally and in Canada, with organic practices, as our main focus. Other ingredients are sourced from reputable suppliers who also work hard to achieve the same standards for quality and ethical farm practices that we do. We have great relation ships with all of our suppliers and we feel confident this shows in the quality of our tea.
‘Through New Moon Tea Co., I aim to share with you our hand crafted tea blends and invite you to join in on our clean, fair and healthy tea journey, one cup at a time.’
