CANCELLED DUE TO HEAT: Nakusp’s Canada Day Stay at Home Parade

Please note this event has been cancelled due to heat.

This July 1st, we acknowledge and commemorate the Indigenous victims of the residential school systems. Therefore, it is asked that everyone watching and participating in the parade wear orange to symbolize support for the Indigenous community. The Society for Nakusp Community Events will have free orange awareness ribbons available at local businesses for everyone as well.

Nakusp and Area Bike Society is excited to partner with Brent Wanstall from Shon’s – Bike, Ski, Stay, a PMBI Level 1 Certified Instructor, to offer a summer skills camp.
