Nakusp and Arrow Lakes

Acknowledgements

In 2008, the Nakusp & Area Development Board was accepted into the Community Tourism Foundations Development Program, and received funding to develop a tourism plan for the Nakusp and Arrow Lakes. A stakeholder and public presentation of the plan took place in Nakusp on April 1, 2009 where it was was adopted by those in attendance.  By March 31, 2010 the first phase of the Tourism Plan was complete, with the development of a Visitor Guide, Photo Image Bank and Tourism Website.

Deb Booth, self-taught artist and local resident, has had a passion for phototgraphy for 20 years.  She has received several awards and commissions for specialty assignments.

Rory A. McLeod

Self-taught photographer Rory A. McLeod lives in Nakusp BC, and has been photographing the Kootenays for the past ten years. His specialty is interactive and panoramic format for both web and print and includes a diverse collection of images of wildlife and vistas. Don Weixl has been a full time professional photographer since 1981, and specializes in tourism and commercial photography for a diverse list of clients.
