Quiet Hours @ Nakusp Public Library, Nakusp
Nov 15 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Quiet Hours

The Nakusp Public Library is a community center and popular hub, providing an assortment of programming for all ages. We acknowledge that due to the size of the space it is not always possible to be the model of a “silent traditional Library.” Yet the Library aims to meet the diverse needs of our community and we understand that some people may have sensory sensitivities or require a quiet place to unwind, relax, or study. The Library is now offering weekly “Quiet Hours” Fridays from 1pm to 3pm. All patrons and staff will be expected to whisper and interactions will be minimized. If you have been looking for a quiet place to relax, stop by the Nakusp Public Library Friday afternoons this winter.
