JoAnne Alaric is an award-winning documentarian based in Burton, BC. In April 2010 JoAnne graduated with Honours from the Independent Digital Film Program in Nelson B.C.  She has been educated in Film Writing, Film Editing, Cinematography, lights and sound for film at both Selkirk College and Langara College in Vancouver. She is a member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers, and has worked on a number of local filming projects, promotional videos and independent films.

JoAnne specializes in digital video production including promotional, educational and training videos, event videography and at the heart of her business, documentary film-making.

In the last eight years JoAnne has had the privilege of working with a variety of artists and organizations including B.C. Parks, Kootenay Co-op, Thrive Malawi, Nakusp and District Museum, BACA Nakusp, Nakusp and District Chamber of Commerce, Local Artists and Musicians in both Nelson, New Denver and Nakusp and recently with world renowned Cellist Johanne Perron.
